About me

I'm a Relate certified relationship counsellor and an ardent believer in the positive impact of stable, wholesome relationships on the human psyche and society at large. As an individual member of the BACP, I adhere to its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in counselling and psychotherapy. I currently offer Couple/Adult relationship counselling at Relate Berkshire.

Specifically qualified in relationship counselling, I offer empathic, non-judgmental relationship counselling to couples and adult individuals. Working collaboratively with clients, I provide a safe and confidential space within which couples (or individuals) can explore their relationships, discuss difficulties, recognise triggers/patterns, identify desired changes and forge a way forward by making informed decisions about the relationship's future.

I do understand that seeking counselling may be quite daunting, particularly if attending for the first time. May I assure you that your autonomy, safety and emotional well-being are always prioritised. I, therefore, hope that you will take the step to explore your relationship issues. If you do make that decision, and would like to find out more, please get in touch to arrange a no-obligation initial assessment/consultation.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
