About me

I can help if you are feeling sad, anxious, or depressed, or if there is a problem in your relationship or you struggle with alcohol or drug use. I work with adults and young people. We will work collaboratively to explore what is going on with you and to try to find new ways of thinking, to understand why you respond the way you do and make changes so that you have a happier time. These insights can lead to positive changes in you, better self-knowledge and a better connection to your feelings and to your self. We can find a way for you to live better, feel more fulfilled and content.

If you are

  • depressed
  • anxious or stressed
  • dealing with addiction
  • having work or relationship difficulties

then call me. We can meet for an initial session and decide if working together would be a helpful and positive step forward for you. I look forward to hearing from you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an accredited registered member of the BACP and a member of the BPS.
I have a BSc in Psychology and a Post graduate diploma in Counselling Psychology.
I work in an integrative manner combining a humanistic, person-centred approach with CBT where helpful.

I have been working in West London for over 10 years with concentrated experience in working with addiction.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
