About me

Choosing a counsellor is an important step. I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to support you in this process. I am an experienced counsellor with strong online counselling skills.

Whether you are going through a crisis in your life or experiencing a difficult emotional time speaking to counsellor can be life changing. My name is Victoria. I am an integrative counsellor with years of experience in many counselling approaches. We can collaboratively draw on these together, finding what works best for you - your unique way to acknowledge and overcome difficulties. I have been told by my clients that they initially feel relief, followed by feeling more resourceful, creative and happy in their lives with a stronger sense of freedom.

Training, qualifications & experience

As well as working in Private Practice I have collaborated for over 5 years with the NHS foundation trust, Oasis and the charity sector using creativity to support mental wellbeing. I also have more than a decade experience of helping people recover from addictive behaviours be it one to one, in treatment centres or in prison.

I also work as counsellor and case manager for an EAP specialising in online counselling.

As a practicing artist with a MA in Fine Art I have mentored many artists, individually or in groups since 1997. I am a trained yoga teacher. This training and life experience enables me to work creatively to facilitate clients in deepening their connections between their emotions, body and mind.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
