About me

How therapy can help you ?

If you have come across my page you are possibly wondering how therapy can help you? This is a big step in itself, these can range from issues a person may be having with their relationships, or with deeper conflicts within the self and mind, such as anxiety and depression or with other issues such as domestic violence, trauma, bereavement, confidence and esteem issues. Therapy is for you to get to know yourself better, reduce emotional pain or confusion. It also allows you to develop an understanding of your psychological issues, which in return will help in gaining perspective for what you need.

About Me

Hi, my name is Adam and I am an Integrative psychotherapist. Being an integrative psychotherapist, I am able to work in a way that allows me to delve into different theories and models of psychotherapy. We all experience difficulties in various ways, therefore, tailoring the sessions to your needs. I offer therapy that is either short term in as many weeks or longer depending on your choice and needs. My service allows you to explore in a safe space by allowing for the therapeutic relationship to be one that is trusting, empathic and free from any judgments.

If you are grieving with the loss of someone through bereavement or grieving due to a loss of a relationship? or you are having confidence and esteem issues? Or feeling a certain way that is unexplainable currently or  noticed a pattern of behaviour that you simply can't understand? then do not hesitate to contact me .

If you  have any questions about counselling, you would like to book a session or have a FREE 30 minute chat to see whether counselling is the right step for you , then please get in touch today. You can call me on 01772 382827 or email me. Should I be unable to take the call, please leave a message and I will try to get back to you between my appointments.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
