About me
Hello and welcome, I’m Abi, a fully qualified counsellor with a master’s degree in integrative counselling, and I would love to support you on your journey of self-discovery and greater well-being.
My Approach:
I believe in a holistic approach to counselling, where your unique experiences and needs are at the forefront of our work together. By integrating various therapeutic techniques, I tailor my approach to suit you, ensuring that our sessions are as effective and meaningful as possible. In addition to traditional methods, I can, if it suits you incorporate energy therapies such as EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) to work with the body and release emotional blockages.
Areas you may wish to explore in counselling could include:
- Relationship challenges, affairs and separations
- Lacking confidence in relationships or at work
- Not meeting societal milestones
- Feeling isolated, alone or left behind
- Life not turning out as planned
- Loss of a person, animal, dream
- Deciding whether to have children
- Existential dread
What You Can Expect:
In a safe and compassionate environment, we will explore your feelings, thoughts, and behaviours to uncover the underlying patterns that may be holding you back. My aim is to empower you to make positive changes and gain a deeper understanding of yourself.
Why Choose Me?
Finding the right counsellor is about more than just approach and qualifications - it's about connection. My aim is to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel truly seen and heard. Together, we'll explore your challenges, celebrate your strengths, and work toward the changes you want to see in your life. I am here to support you at your pace and in a way that feels authentic to you.
I would love to hear from you. Please contact me by email to arrange an initial meeting.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
