About me

I am a fully qualified and BABCP accredited CBT Therapist. I specialise in people experiencing depression and anxiety disorders such as; panic disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, social anxiety, generalised anxiety disorder, phobias and post-traumatic stress disorder. I also offer support for those suffering from stress and general mood changes.

I believe CBT can help everyone and I thoroughly enjoy working with someone and seeing the positive changes that can be made week by week. Everyone experiences and interprets the world differently and in therapy we will work collaboratively to focus on your personal goals. Seeking support can be a difficult step for some, knowing that therapy sessions provide a safe and non judgemental environment can help.

Once you contact me, I will arrange a brief telephone call where we can discuss what you want to work on in therapy. This can help determine whether CBT is the best fit for you and we can talk through any questions you may have. Our first session is called an assessment session. This involves gathering as much information as we need to work out what might be maintaining the issue and where it started. This information can be invaluable when working on your specific goals for therapy.
