Dr Justin Savage, Clinical Psychologist (ClinPsyD)
I am an experienced and chartered Clinical Psychologist - I help individuals and families with their psychological wellbeing. I have private and NHS experience as a Clinical Psychologist. My focus involves depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship problems. I am professionally registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and am a chartered member of The British Psychological Society (BPS).
I provide psychological therapy and assessment, including medico-legal reports, for a wide range of psychological, emotional and behavioural problems. I aim to help people overcome their problems as quickly and effectively as possible, guided by their pace and capabilities.
I use training and experience in various therapies such as, Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based therapy to work with a range of people and problems. I will work collaboratively with you to tailor therapy to your individual goals and needs.
Treated problems include: depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, eating disorders, medically unexplained symptoms and pains, relationship problems, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, self-harm, emotional instability, personality issues.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have been working in mental health since 2003 when I gained my first degree in psychology. I subsequently qualified as a Clinical Psychologist from the University of Birmingham and worked for several years in secondary care adult mental health services in the NHS. This involved working with moderate to severe mental health problems including eating disorders, anxiety, depression and personality disorders.
I receive regular clinical supervision and participate in peer supervision with qualified colleagues.
I am an 'approved provider' with all major health insurance companies.

Clinical Psychology assessment and psychotherapy sessions for individuals are £85 per hour or £120 for 1.5 hours. Longer sessions are available at £35 for each additional 30 minutes.
There are no additional fees for evening appointments and no hidden charges/extra charges.
