Whatever difficulties have prompted you to visit this site talking to an experienced counsellor usually helps. Change is hard for anyone but it can be made easier with support. Whether you're suffering with anxiety or depression or if you have difficulties around addiction; whether you've had a recent crisis or a relationship difficulty or loss or whether you want to explore the effect of your past, all these can be helped by talking to a counsellor who can help you understand yourself better and help you open new windows for the future.
I can see you for an initial session with no obligation to continue as it's very important that you find someone you feel comfortable with. Over the years I've been told that I'm easy to talk to and insightful and that clients feel very safe with me and that they experience me as warm, empathic and non-judgemental.
I worked in the counselling service of Sussex University for 14 years and have been in private practice and at The Rock for nearly 20. I use skills from the different trainings I've completed to your best interests. I work short, medium and long-term depending on what you want to get out of our work together.
Please feel free to email or phone me. If you would like an initial chat on the phone that's fine.
