Lilian Rayner MBACP (Accred) reg
Hello, are you feeling stressed or anxious, do you have family/relationship issues, is depression or anger an area you need help with? Are you feeling lonely or is GAD (Generalised Anxiety Disorder) causing you concern?
Do you feel you need someone to talk to in confidence but not sure if counselling is what you are looking for? I am a very experienced accredited counsellor with 20yrs experience; to arrange an initial assessment, at the reduced rate of £10, give me a call or email me today to find out if counselling is what you are looking for.
It can sometimes be difficult for some people to maintain a good relationship with family and friends. In an ideal relationship we have support to help us cope with what life ‘throws’ at us but it can often be difficult to work through feelings and problems with our nearest and dearest. Sometimes, what we have to face on a daily basis can be too much to bear and we need some help and understanding to cope, this is when counselling could help.
Many areas where counselling can be of help is if you are having relationship issues, feelings of sadness, anxiety, GAD, loneliness or depression, feelings of confusion, anger, low self-esteem, lacking confidence or feeling stressed. Is bereavement causing you concern, or just struggling to cope with every day life? Then maybe it might help to speak with someone outside of your close family or friends.
Counselling takes place in a calm and relaxed environment where your privacy and mental health is of paramount, allowing you to talk about what is on your mind and help you understand any difficulties you are experiencing and your role within those difficulties. Counselling can be emotionally demanding at times but with help and support can enable you to grow psychologically.
You may only need 1 or 2 sessions to talk through what is bothering you and that is OK but if you need more that's also OK so call or email me today for an initial appointment, at the reduced rate of £10, to see if what I have to offer is what you are looking for.
I have worked as a Counsellor for 20 years providing counselling for adults, from 18-80, in the High Wycombe and surrounding area, both in private practice and as a volunteer for Buckinghamshire Mind. I am an Accredited member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists and follow their ethical framework.
Prior to becoming a Counsellor I worked for many years in the world of commerce, the caring profession and raised a family.
- analyse you
- give you advice
- tell you what to do
- be judgemental.
- help you find your own solution
- help you live your life the way you want to
- be there to listen to whatever you want to talk about
- keep everything you say confidential
With grateful thanks for all of your help and support (I am still practicing the homework).
I can’t thank you enough for your help, for listening to me and not judging me. You have got me through a very difficult period in my life.
Awesome, helped me so much, I can't even begin to describe how much but I have improved so much, I'm starting to get my life back on track.
I think this counselling is really effective, wish I had been able to talk to someone like you 30 years ago but it's never too late. I am now feeling totally normal and have ideas on how to find strength to carry on with my life.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
