Stefan Kelly BA(Hons) Counselling, MBACP accredited
I am an experienced psychotherapist and business owner with an extensive background in commercial, clinical and welfare management at director and senior levels.
For more than 19 years, I have worked closely with individuals and couples struggling with life changing events. These have included anxiety, low mood and depression, low confidence and self esteem as well as sense of identity.
Many of my clients are entrepreneurs, business owners and professionals who have been looking for personal growth and insight, as well as exploring solutions to more immediate work related or personal issues. Often they have found a place with me to share their stories and work to understanding why life can be so tough at times.
My work also includes couples with relationship, intimacy and communication difficulties. The focus here is usually to find a way to open up communications and try to get a shared understanding of the often confusing behaviours and dynamics that can exist within the relationship.
Part of my long term clinical work, (typically two years) is with counselling students embarking on the long and challenging journey to becoming qualified practitioners. I have experienced and celebrated, with those students, the depth of self awareness and insight in the process of training.
