Accredited member of BACP
I've had a lot of life experiences such as childhood issues, depression, divorce, having children which has enabled me to really understand how difficult and challenging life can be. I do have the ability to really connect with my clients and enable real change.
How can I help?
I offer a confidential, professional service underpinned by a sound knowledge of therapy, a very friendly approach and enthusiasm to help you resolve your issue.
Please feel free to contact me either by phone or email, where I will be more than happy to discuss your individual needs.
My training is very comprehensive and I use various models of counselling depending on the client and the issue. I don't believe 'one size fits all' and I prefer to help my clients holistically. That means for me, to tailor my approach to your needs. For example, one client may benefit from some short term counselling whereas another client would prefer and require a mixture of counselling and Hypnotherapy. We would discuss that together at the initial assessment session.
I am also qualified in Life Coaching.
What you can expect from your sessions
We meet at my private practice in Cambridge or near St Ives for sessions. The first appointment is an assessment which lasts between an hour and an hour and a half. It gives me time to build up a good picture of what you are experiencing, and also gives you a chance to meet me, ask me questions and explore what is going on in your life. We then discuss how many sessions you might need and how often you would need to see me- for example weekly or fortnightly, All subsequent sessions for individuals last fifty minutes and couples sessions are sixty minutes.
After the assessment, I am happy to arrange Skype sessions if you are restricted by time or distance.
We establish the goals of your therapy and work towards them, so at the end of your therapy you have accomplished what you had hoped for.
