I am a psychodynamically trained psychotherapist with over 20 years experience of NHS and private work. I am able to offer an individually tailored approach to a variety of problems. Although initially trained psychodynamically I believe in offering an approach which will best meet the needs of the individual which includes solution focused and cognitive methods.
I am also a qualified Interpersonal Psychotherapist (IPT) and supervisor.
I have taught on the psychodynamic counselling course at Reading University.
I am currently a senior Psychotherapist in Psychological Services at a NHS Trust.
I am able to offer both short term and long term help to those with a variety of problems including relationship difficulties, depression, loss, anxiety, anorexia, bulimia and binge eating.
I am UKCP and BACP registered.

I have a variety of experience both in the NHS and in the private sector. I have worked in GP practices as a senior counsellor for over seven years, I have also worked as a trainer and supervisor of counsellors and psychotherapists.I am currently employed as a Senior Psychotherapist in the NHS. I also have a small private practice.
