Tina Pawsey Registered Accredited MBACP
I am a BACP accredited counsellor and I offer a confidential face-to-face counselling service on either a short term or long term basis. I am experienced in working with individuals over the age of 18.
I provide a warm and non-judgemental environment where people can explore issues that are troubling them, such as difficulty in relationships, anxiety, loss and bereavement, depression and low self-esteem. Many people suffer with high levels of stress in the workplace and I work with many people in this situation. Stress can also lead to problems with anger so I offer help with anger-management. I believe it's good to talk and very often people find it easier to talk to someone they're not emotionally close to.
Having experienced the benefits of counselling personally, I provide a safe place for others to experience the same benefits through a counselling relationship which can help them discover solutions to their problems. I believe each person is unique and because I work in an integrative way, I draw on several different counselling approaches to find the one that fits each individual. The counselling process is like a journey and I am committed to staying with the client through their journey until they are ready to go it alone.
I am a qualified supervisor offering supervision to counsellors and trainees. I also offer supervision to staff who work in charitable organisations or agencies in the helping professions.
I have two parking spaces at my premises. Watton has frequent daytime bus services from the surrounding villages and towns.

Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
