About me

Hi, I am Simon, a BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) Registered Counsellor seeing clients in Wadebridge, Cornwall.

Essentially the relationship between a counsellor and client is confidential and is based on trust. Counselling helps to discover reasons for unwanted thoughts and works out ways of dealing with them.

This should help you to take control of your life and understand the reasons why you may feel distressed, which may help you handle life more effectively. You may learn different ways of communicating with others so you can become more assertive or you may develop greater confidence.

If you would like to find out more about the counselling I offer you can ask questions by text, email or calling my mobile number. I will call you back (if ok) to see how we can work together. If you want to meet me, I will explain how when and where to meet for a session, what I can offer you and how flexible as well as in your control your therapy is - by being open, confidential, discreet and ultimately for a single session, or as many as wanted.

Other areas of counselling I deal with

When seeking support through unhappiness in life, particularly if physical, emotional or sexual abuse have left you with disturbing or suicidal thoughts. Or perhaps struggling with the impact of an affair that may affect all family relationships, hiding unknown problems with family attachment; producing stressful living and a sense of loneliness.

If the behavioural problems of others have caused trauma, or you feel discriminated against in your life, as part of a career, or through redundancy; Counselling can unravel the complex questions raised. Any of these issues can produce anxiety with associated panic not helping any underlying difficulties like disability, chronic fatigue or seasonal affective disorder.
