I offer professional and confidential Psychotherapy, Coaching and Counselling in Shoreham-by-Sea & the City of London. I also offer online therapy services to clients throughout the UK and abroad. In addition, I work as a clinical supervisor for other therapists (see website for details).

My main practice is located in central Shoreham-by-Sea, just a short walk from the train station - 22 Buckingham Road, BN43 5UB. As a counsellor in Shoreham-by-Sea I am committed to providing high quality and affordable therapy. My practice is easy to reach from surrounding areas such as Brighton, Hove, Lancing, Worthing and surrounding areas. Weekday, evening & some weekend appointments are available.

My clinical approach is Integrative (including CBT, Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Existential, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis) and incorporates Coaching approaches and techniques. This allows a focus on deep psychological change, and also the ability to work in practical, solution-focused ways with my clients to develop their strengths.

I have worked for over twenty years in the financial sector, and have experience leading large departments in a pressurized atmosphere. Working Together
Life is full of challenges and demands. Mostly we are able to respond to them effectively, however there may be times when we feel out of touch with ourselves and unable to access the inner resources we have previously relied on.
Therapy can help those who would like to: make sense of the past; handle emotions differently; overcome feelings of depression or anxiety; improve relationships with others; live life with more passion, confidence and contentment; be free of self-doubt or shame; make professional changes; improve performance; make difficult choices; move beyond abuse or trauma; deal with things that hold them back in life.
I offer a non-judgemental and confidential space to explore your situation and to understand it better. Some people enter therapy with clear goals, others feeling overwhelmed and as a last resort. Some feel stuck in an old groove, and this is also ok, therapy can still help. Our work together may help open up new perspectives and insights; a deeper understanding of how you think, feel and behave. I offer support and also, at times, some challenge to help you move beyond your comfort zone and get you where you'd like to be.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
