Adrian Campbell, Registered Member MBACP (Accredited)
Experienced and fully qualified counsellor/psychotherapist offering you the 'talking therapy' in an environment that is safe, free from judgement and is confidential.
Research shows that talking things over with a trained professional who is not directly involved in the situation can be of great benefit. The way I respond to what you say can help you to become more aware of what you think and feel, help you to focus on what is important to you, help you to recover your abilities to cope and give you the strength to move on. You may decide to have short or long term counselling and I will give you the time and space you need to find ways through issues that are causing you difficulty or distress.
It is you who decides on what to talk about, how often we meet and how many sessions you require. Each session usually lasts up to an hour. Most people like to meet once a week, others once a fortnight, others once every few months or so. For me, it is important that it is you who is in control of your counselling.
