Caroline Ley MBACP, MBPsS, COSRT, ATSAC, MA, PG Dip, BSc (Psych),
I know this is not an easy decision to make. You have a list of counsellors to choose from at a time when making daily decisions to change your life could be difficult. This may be your first step towards counselling or you may have seen a few counsellors previously and yet, you still feel stuck. How can you be sure out of all the counsellors that I will be the right person for you?
I Am Experienced
Over the last ten years, I have worked with more than 500 clients over 8,000+ counselling sessions. During that time I have helped many people change their lives and their relationships for the better and that for me, is the reason I do this work. I have got to know a large number of people on a deep level and it has been a privilege to work with many clients from so many different and diverse backgrounds. A high percentage of clients return to me when new issues pop up in their lives and new clients often come to me via personal recommendations.
For nearly 5 years I have owned and developed the Cherry Tree Therapy Centre in Buckhurst Hill. I have brought together a fantastic team of counsellors and psychotherapists and together we offer non-profit community groups such as bereavement and anxiety support groups.
From 2016-2018 I worked at the University of East London as a Clinical Supervisor and Lecturer, helping future counsellors to become the best practitioners they can be.
My Counselling Work
My own personal work has developed over the years and in addition to general counselling, I have a special interest in working with clients with addictions, in particular alcohol, drugs, sex and porn addiction. I also work with partners and children of sex addicts, plus individuals and couples who are experiencing psychosexual issues. If you are unable to attend the centre for sessions you don't have to worry, I regularly see clients both in the UK and overseas using Skype or Zoom.
So Am I Right For You?
I can’t answer that, but I am happy to have a no obligation chat on the phone to discuss your situation and any concerns you have about coming in for counselling. I know it can be a tough call to make, so even if your first step is a text message or an email, that step could be a huge shift towards a better future.
