About me

Many people are using the resources of a counsellor or coach for difficulties large and small. I am a qualified and experienced counsellor and coach in an established private practice in Manchester city centre.

Most of the people I see have a feeling of getting stuck or going round in circles.  Often there are difficult feelings including anxiety, stress, anger or depression.  I help by getting to the root of the problem and finding creative solutions.

I specialise in Person Centered counselling because it is widely used for a number of difficulties, and continues to set the standard for all counselling and psychological therapies. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and the International Centre for Clinical Excellence.

Much of the work I do is related to difficulties in relationships, with partners, family friends, or work colleagues. Sometimes it's the relationship that you have with yourself, including feeling emotionally overloaded or being cut off from feelings.

I combine the skills of a counsellor and coach to offer a holistic and individual approach that will best suit you. I have many resources available and I keep up to date with the latest developments in psychology and neuroscience. I want to help, and so on the website you will also find insider information and advice: www.persontopersonsolutions.co.uk or click the link at the top of the page.

I work with individuals and couples, and I work with employers throughout the Greater Manchester area, large and small, public and private. Some of the people I see are professionals including: executives and managers; legal and accounting; health, education and emergency services; sports and media professionals.

I am easy to find and close to Piccadilly Gardens, with flexible appointment times from 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
