About me
I am a qualified counsellor in private practice using Person Centred Counselling and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, along with elements of other counselling techniques, depending on the client’s needs.
I am a member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and all my work follows their code of ethics and confidentiality. I offer counselling in a safe environment for you to explore and express your issues, concerns and fears, past or present.
I am also a qualified Counselling Supervisor available for supervision for practicing counsellors as well as trainee counsellors.
I work from home as clients appreciate the privacy this offers. Alternatively, I will consider home visits. Please contact me if you would prefer this option.
Given the current situation in relation COVID – 19, I am offering counselling and supervision sessions via telephone or SKYPE.
I am available every weekday, with the with the exception of Wednesday and weekends. I will offer my services after 5.30pm on Wednesdays.
During the initial session we can discuss how we will work together and what it is that you want from the sessions. I will explain the different approaches that we could consider and whether we can use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or the Person-Centred Approach. The decision will be yours.
I am fluent in Welsh.

My fees are:
Initial session: £25.
All sessions thereafter: £35.
Home Visits: Subject to agreement.
College or University Student Rates: £25.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
