Practical Approaches to help you cope better

"Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) outperforms medication for stress, anxiety and depression."

But will it work for you?

The truth is you can’t be sure. And yet, 1000s of people who’ve been to see us have transformed their lives in extraordinary ways.

In therapy, you focus on learning new skills. It’s not just talking. You’ll discover much more about what keeps you stuck. Seeing these patterns gives you hope and opportunity. The next stage is to put into practice the strategies you learn from your therapist.

Step by step, you’ll feel calmer, more energetic, and more confident.

We can help you with the following problems:

Here is how it works

  • Step One: Give us a call or visit or message me to book a consultation.
  • Step Two: Meet for your first appointment and discover why you feel stuck.
  • Step Three:  Start learning new ways to help you work, love, play and feel better.

You can work with one of our other therapists or with me...click here to meet our team.

It takes strength, courage and wisdom to reach out for help. When you feel stuck, it’s not because you’re weak or broken. It’s just that you’re using the wrong tools for the job. Therapy gives you the tools that are missing. Once you have them, taking care of yourself gets much easier.

Make Your Future Brighter...feel calmer and more confident by getting the knowledge, skills and support from One-on-One Therapy.

What people are saying about us

“Thank you for all your help over the years, from me, myself and our two girls, you have helped keep our little family together.” Dean, 45 yrs

Jim has helped me so much in the time i have been seeing him , he has helped me in lots of ways, setting me small tasks, listening to me and helping me stand back from certain situations…i can see things are not as bad as i perceive and I’ve learned to take a different perspective.

Louise, 39 years old

I would recommend Jim to anyone who finds themselves in my position, anyone who is seeking to make changes, those motivated to turn their life around for the better.

Gary, 31 years old

I found the counselling sessions and your approach to CBT extremely beneficial. Counselling not only helped me overcome my OCD but has given me the tools to manage my condition and to prevent the obsessions and compulsions from returning.

Ben, 27 years old

I came to Jim for help after struggling with panic attacks and agoraphobia for many years. The therapy has been challenging at times but, with patience and support, Jim has taught me to adopt a new approach to my anxiety, which is enabling me to live a fuller life.
