Dr Catherine Bamford, Chartered Clinical Psychologist & Neuropsychologist
Rugby Health & Wellbeing Centre
39A Regent Street
I am a highly experienced and successful Clinical Psychologist. Since starting work as a Psychologist in 2004, I have successfully treated many adults and children with a wide range of psychological difficulties and complex presentations.
I have a naturally warm and friendly manner and a down to earth approach to my work.
My clients present with a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, panic attacks, depression, relationship breakdown, work or school related stress, post traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder and eating disorders.
I have a special interest and extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of trauma and accident related psychological illness. I also have a special interest in supporting individuals living with neurological illness.
I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy as the basis of my therapeutic work, however my training enables me to draw upon a range of therapeutic approaches.
I worked in NHS as a Clinical Psychologist between 2008 and 2015 and have had my own private practice since 2010.
I have Chartered status with the British Psychological Society and am also registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
I also work as a Neuropsychologist, providing psychological therapy and interventions for individuals living with neurological injury or illness.
