About me

Choosing the right counsellor is the first step towards helping yourself and I am confident that I can be that person to help you with your therapy.

You are not alone, in everyday life we are all presented with problems and issues, and at times are unable to deal with them ourselves or solely by the advice of well meaning friends or family.  I offer a friendly, patient and open approach to counselling, working at pace that is tailored to your requirements.  I can help you explore the issues and allow you to understand and come to terms with them.

It’s all about drawing on your life experiences and building a life that’s truly enriching and satisfying for you.  I will help you to enhance your relationships, grow your self-esteem, removing the obstacles of old habits or thought patterns that might be letting you down.  Through our sessions you will learn more about who you are, what you want from life and how to set all of that in motion.

I am a member of the National Counselling Society and follow the code of ethics set by the BACP.  I studied Psychology at the University of Hertfordshire and graduated with a BSc Hons in Psychology.  I progressed my studies by doing a two year diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy and I have been in private practice based in Norwich for eight years.

I use an Integrative approach in my practise combining cognitive behavioural therapy, Humanistic counselling and Person Centred therapy. I am experienced in helping people who have experienced issues with:
