Integrative UKCP reg. Psychotherapist since 1999.

I'm passionate in enabling, supporting and witnessing people grow to overcome their human challenges, as life presents to them, within my professional training/s and life experiences to support the work and frame of your explorations.

As a fully trained UKCP Reg. Psychotherapist along with a long history of Nursing background and 25 years experience of client work.

In this personal work, I seek to offer each client a complex diversity of skills underpinned with substantial in-depth training/s to all my clients. My trainings include:psychodynnamic, integrative humanistic, Body & Energy /breathwork, Trauma mangement and transpersonal focus with creativity: journal writing, expression with art etc The therapy is to fit each client as they choose and negotiate to work.

I undertake EAP (employment assisted providers): short term counselling, longer-term provision, for more in depth developmental psychotherapeutic work.
Each client /couples is/are a unique individuals, I believe and need to be respected in this way. I seek to focus upon the 'psychotherapeutic relational' dimensions and what provides the 'glue' to all counselling and psychotherapy theory and practice in the here and now framework.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

All clients are offered clear boundaries and confidentiality is fully respected at all times.

The place I meet clients here in my home in Wantage few minutes from town centre.

The sessions take place in a light airy room: quiet and safe. No noise and no possibility of interruptions.

I will work 'on the mattress' if this is your wish to focus on the 'body' as part of the whole person. This is a fully comprehensive 'Body Psychotherapeutic process supported with 7 years training in Body oriented somatic /energy work/ breath work.
If you wish to explore , art therapy, this is too is available to explore: as a container and mirroring process..

Other places to work are in a rented room in Wantage with more space.
