About me

Making changes to our lives is something that many people like to do at the beginning of a new year for many different reasons, fears and anxieties, relationship issues, parenting and child behaviour, depression and bereavement, some of these may be a challenge, let me help by listening and giving you the support and guidance you need as they say 'a problem shared is a problem halved'.

Working together I will support you to overcome your challenges in a way that helps you to adjust comfortably, helping you to become a happy and fulfilled person. Giving you the skills you need to make changes in your life to overcome and manage your issues, I will work with you to achieve the best possible outcomes. I have supported many people over a period of 20 years to make the changes to their lives they desperately desire. Addressing the issues of anxiety, stress, depression, relationship problems, addictions, panic attacks, post traumatic stress disorder, phobias, low self-esteem, self harming, poor concentration, bereavement and loss, obsessions, insomnia, weight loss and more I will listen to you and give you time and the respect you deserve instead of feeling like a number or statistic. Book a session with me and we will work together to achieve your goals.

I am an Integrative Counsellor and Human Givens Psychotherapist with over 20 years experience supporting individuals, couples, families, children and young people in various settings. Feedback from hundreds of clients is positive stating that they are feeling more relaxed, that they have new learnings and strategies to manage their issues and that the tools they have learned have had a massive impact on their lives for the better.

Supporting young people and families experiencing life challenges, family breakdown, stress and anxiety is an area of specialism for me. I will help you and your family to improve family life, to improve self esteem and concentration, reduce anxiety and angry outbursts, to stop self harming and obsessive compulsive disorders, and help you to achieve a more harmonious household.

I am currently working with families in the Suffolk area experiencing some of the challenges mentioned above, to maintain and improve relationships between children, young people, parents, step parents and partners.

I have a specialism in working with young people especially those with dyslexia, dyspraxia and ASD plus other issues. I help parents and carers to understand how they can achieve change and build self esteem, to reduce anxiety and stress.

I also provide couple counselling to support you and your partner to remain together, and mediation for separating or divorcing couples, to reduce the financial burden, when you are ready to move on. I can write reports for you for social services, family services etc if that is necessary.

I am also working with a leading national mental health charity providing support for individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, stress and depression in the Suffolk area. I am a regular contributor to local radio and I am currently providing workshops in support of carers in Suffolk about trauma, anxiety and depression.
