About me

Psychotherapy and counselling is often called the 'talking cure'. People often value such help during a time of transition and change, crisis or loss when it is difficult to know 'what to do?'

I believe it is always possible to improve the way in which people tackle their problems and to use times of difficulty to make changes for the better.

I am a qualified UKCP Existential Psychotherapist more than 15 years experience. I am committed to providing counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment.

Existential psychotherapy and counselling will clarify your understanding of yourself and your life circumstances. It may help you through a specific life crisis and in becoming better at handling difficult relationships. Together we shall explore what matters most deeply to you in life and tackle what is most problematic. CBT strategies and techniques can help to reduce symptoms of stress, anxiety, panic and depression.

I work with individuals on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a fully qualified accredited UKCP psychotherapist with a Post Graduate Certificate, Diploma and an M.A. in Existential Psychotherapy and Counselling.
I have more than 15 years experience as a therapist.

I trained at Regent's College School of Psychotherapy and Counselling and then the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling which is affiliated to Sheffield University. I have also trained and have certificates in basic CBT from The Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre.
