Wendy Borrett Online Counsellor MBACP(SnrAccred)
Hello and welcome to my profile.
I am a BACP Senior Accredited Counsellor and Senior Accredited Supervisor who offers online counselling and supervision sessions via Zoom and I can help you with a variety of issues. Online counselling is a safe and effective way to receive counselling, especially during these uncertain times, and I have found that many of my clients have really felt the benefit of receiving therapy in this way. I am also a Clinical Hypnotherapist and a member of the BSCH.
I have over 19 years of counselling experience, which includes counselling students and staff at a well-known College of Further and Higher Education and also working at a GP practice and organisations who provide counselling for people who are experiencing stress, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, bereavement, loss and relationship problems.
My psychological training and experience as a therapist have provided me with a unique insight into many issues and allow me to tailor each session individually so that I can help you in the most effective way.
It is my aim to ensure that all of my clients get the very best treatment available. I would like to help you to change your life for the better.
I am listed on the BACP Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and am bound by the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice. I am also a Clinical Hypnotherapist and a member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH).

Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
