About me

Hello and welcome to my profile.

I am a BACP Senior Accredited Counsellor and Senior Accredited Supervisor who offers counselling sessions via Zoom. This is to keep everybody safe and secure whilst they continue to receive counselling to help them to cope with the various issues they might be dealing with at this time. Receiving counselling in this way, I feel, works well and has benefited many of the clients I have seen when using this modality.

For those who would like to consider this service, please do not hesitate to contact me for further information.

Outside of the current COVID-19 situation I offer face to face counselling to individuals and couples from my private practice in Sidcup, Kent which is in the London Borough of Bexley. I am also a Clinical Hypnotherapist and a member of the BSCH.

I have over 19 years of counselling experience, which includes 8 years counselling students and staff at a well-known College of Further and Higher Education, and I have also worked for a GP practice and organisations who provide counselling for people who are experiencing stress, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, bereavement, loss and relationship problems.

My psychological training and experience as a therapist have provided me with a unique insight into many issues and allow me to tailor each session individually so that I can help you in the most effective way.

My private practice is located in a lovely Edwardian house, in a comfortable room dedicated to providing counselling and hypnotherapy. It is important that you feel safe, secure and relaxed whilst we are working and I have taken every care to ensure that the room is conducive to our work together.

It is my aim to ensure that all of my clients get the very best treatment available. I would like to help you to change your life for the better.

I am listed on the BACP Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and am bound by the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice. I am also a Clinical Hypnotherapist and a member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis.

Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience.
