Getting reliable help for relationship issues and/or sexual difficulties can be problematic. Mary offers relationship counselling for couples or individuals with a very flexible but dynamtic approach. Her warm and friendly way of working is mainly systemic, but she is able to work using CBT or psychodynamic models. She is comfortable and confident working with all aspects of sexuality. She realises through her experience that relationship or sexual difficulties need a proactive and timely response and her challenging way of working really gets to the root of difficulties quickly so that there is no time wasted to get the result that her clients need.

Mary Clegg is a qualified Relationship psychotherapist who can assess and advise on a range of relationship and/or sexual problems for individuals or couples. Mary is a graduate of the world renowned Porterbrook Clinic in Sheffield. This unique training enables her to assess and work with both the physical and psychological aspects of sexual functioning, together with the complex issues of couple relationships; the delivery of true holistic patient care.

Mary has been a Senior Lecturer and Co-Ordinator of Teaching in Sexual Medicine for Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust at the Porterbrook Clinic and Sheffield University and she was involved in the training of students on the various training courses and co-ordinated the delivery of the undergraduate medical students module in Sexual Medicine.
Mary is a consummate professional and ensures that her message is always accurate, up to date and informed and has completed her Masters on female sexual difficulties to aid her research resources. She now has considerable knowledge of sexual dysfunction and has written many articles on sexual and relationship matters generally for publication and for Saga Plc.

All sessions £85.00. Mary's flexible approach to therapy enables her to offer assessment and treatment sessions to suit the individual or couples' needs and time scales. Please contact Mary to discuss this aspect as she is able to offer short term intensive therapy as well as longer term counselling.
Mary is an Accredited member of the College of Sex and Relationship Therapists, Fellow of the Sheffield Society for the Study of Sexuality and Relationships, Founder member of the British Association of Sexual Educators, Member of the British Society for Sexual Medicine. She has considerable experience and training in sexual medicine and often liases with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive treatment plan for all her clients.
