If you are facing difficulties please feel free to contact me on 07930812786 for an informal discussion or for more information about how therapy with me may be able to help you.
I am an Accredited Counsellor & Psychotherapist with over 18years experience providing Counselling & Psychotherapy to adults aged over 18. My aim is to provide an environment where you can express your thoughts and feelings about what has brought you to seek therapy within a relationship that is confidential.
I work with clients presenting with various issues including relationship and family issues, anxiety and depression, anger issues, sexual abuse, trauma, bereavement, work issues, stress and others. i also work with clients who wish to look at their personal growth, personal development and meaning in their lives.
My work is based upon psychoanalytic concepts which seek to make links between your past early life and unconscious processes and how these may be affecting you in your life now. This gives you more insight about yourself at a deep level and helps you to make changes if you wish. I also use the Personcentred approach to offer you a framework which is non judgemental and empathic to your needs.
Depending upon your needs I can offer short or long term therapy. Sessions are 50mins on a once weekly basis or, if required, up to 3 sessions per week. Daytime, Evening & Weekend sessions are available.
There is an initial assessment for us to explore your needs, whether my way of working could be beneficial for you & whether we feel we could work together. I believe that therapy is a joint, collaborative process where our working relationship together with my theoretical knowledge and experience combine to make the work meaningful and relevant for you.
