About me

I have been a qualified counsellor since 1995. I am committed to helping people who have painful issues in their lives and want things to change. I offer a safe, confidential environment where we can talk together in complete privacy allowing you to raise anything that is causing you concern. These may be situations that go as far back as childhood but still cause you heartache or they may be more recent issues. Whatever the case, the resulting factors can often be seen in depression, anxiety and stress. My aim would be to work alongside you in looking at your concerns and giving you time and space to think through and explore these in order that we may be able to help you understand what is going on in your life and find a way through. This could mean that you experience a better quality of life than what you have known for some time.

I have a broad and varied experience and have counselled people both in the UK and abroad.I am happy to counsel face-to-face, by telephone email, or Skype.I work with individuals, couples and also the employees of companies who offer counselling for their staff.

I have experience in dealing with many problems which include:-

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
