I am also trained in BWRT®, a relatively new and innovative therapy that can literally switch off anxiety and troubled emotions.

Why come for Therapy?
Sometimes it is difficult asking for outside help but there are often times when talking to friends and family doesn’t give you the impartial support that an outsider, trained in therapeutic listening can give you.
Whilst support is naturally important, some people do not even have that luxury, or they may feel bombarded with advice that doesn’t suit them. I listen reflectively, mirror back to you what I hear which in turn helps you make the decisions you need to move forwards. Men in particular often want to “solve” their problems and find that their normal problem solving techniques become redundant when it comes to emotional issues.
If couples are in conflict, one of them may seek therapy when the other one cannot face the idea of it. Therapists are there for this purpose and it is a strength to reach out. Effective talking and active listening may resolve things far more deeply and lastingly and thus the issue loses its power.
About me and what I offer
I am based on the outskirts of Malmesbury and offer short and long term therapy for individuals. My therapy room is up one flight of stairs and my house is situated in a peaceful part of the area near a river. Parking is straightforward and if needs be, there is a bus stop nearby.
Hypnotherapy is also available and extremely beneficial in managing stress.
Sometimes working creatively with drawing or writing, sand tray or even stones is extremely effective. This enables us to tap into the subconscious part of you that may be holding you back, addressing limiting beliefs and breaking through emotional blocks.

I have worked with adults and young people over the age of 16 for almost 10 years to facilitate changes required, or at the very best helped them rediscover their true selves to enable them to move forwards from difficulties.
I am a full member of four professional bodies (British Psychological Society, The National Counselling Society (Accred.), the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council and the National Council for Hypnotherapy (Reg) and am DBS checked so you can be assured of my credentials. I also hold professional indemnity insurance.
My practice has easy access from Malmesbury, Chippenham, Cirencester, Tetbury, surrounding villages such as Crudwell, Minety, Charlton, Lea, Great Somerford, Upper and Lower Seagry, Sutton Benger, Sherson, Foxley and other villages not mentioned within the vicinity. Individual session: £50
Supervision: £50 per hour
Hypnotherapy: £70 initial 90 minute session
£50 single sessions thereafter
Special rates available for block bookings, please enquire.
Paypal is accepted as well as BACS, cash or card.
There is no obligation to continue and we can cease when the time feels right although an ending session is recommended to review our progress together.
My practice has easy access from:
Malmesbury and surrounding villages, parking on site. There is a short walk from the car park. I am situated in Malmesbury near a river and my counselling room is on the first floor, so if you have mobility issues, please contact me to find out about other options. My house is in a peaceful location by a river.
