Elizabeth Mouncher MBACP Snr Accred Counsellor/Psychotherapist and Supervisor
Life can be a struggle at times and putting on a brave face can be exhausting and hard to maintain when inside you feel like your world is falling apart. I offer an opportunity for us to share the your world and to find a way forward even if at this moment in time that looks unattainable.
I have a sincere belief in counselling and the benefits gained in connecting with your true self, this gives you a sense of freedom to choose when you want to present the brave face or present who you truly are.
As a highly experienced, professional Counsellor/Psychotherapist I offer a respectful and non-judgmental service in a safe environment allowing us to explore, anxieties and fears that hold us back. I will facilitate your ability to gain clarity and understanding or your behaviours and reactions. This in turn leads to a growth in awareness of how this impacts on your relationships and at the same time gaining a greater sense of your personal identity that often gets lost in this busy frantic world. Your sense of confidence grows, your ability to make more informed choices develops and your self-esteem will be enhanced.
Therapy offers a little stillness in a chaotic world offering the opportunity to reflect, heal, gain understanding of life patterns this understanding leads to personal change and growth. It increases motivation and gives a sense of well-being.
My approach is based on honesty and integrity whilst working at your pace. I provide a confidential and supportive therapeutic space based on safety and trust. I work from relaxing therapy rooms and for those of you who feel like exploring whilst walking I also offer walking therapy. The advantages and the healing nature of being out doors are well documented and can offer a different dimension to the work.
