John Hardy MA. Dip.Couns. MSc.Psychotherapy MBAPC Registered and Accredited
163 Cheltenham Road
I have twenty four years continuous experience of providing confidential counselling and psychotherapy to individuals and couples.
You are welcome to discuss anything you wish. We would go at your own pace, in a calm, secure, confidential environment. You would not be asked to do or say anything you didn't want to. You would be free to express any thought, emotion or experience. You will be genuinely listened to and responded to without being judged.
We would attempt to understand why you feel or act as you do. What happens from there will be different for each person.
For some, the discussion of experiences and the expression of feelings, knowing that it is confidential, is a relief in itself. Finding that you can talk about something which seemed difficult or impossible to talk about can be the beginning of change.
Alternatively, it may be that understanding why you act or feel as you do is enough to bring a different view, and relief from anxiety or stress. Or we may be able to find alternative, better ways of seeing things.
Training, qualifications & experience
My specific counselling and psychotherapy qualifications are:
