Noel Hargrave M.A. Registerd & Accredited UKCP
I am used to working with a wide variety of issues. including anxiety, depression, anger issues, low self esteem, work difficulties, relationship difficulties, trauma, stress and more. My first interests are psychology and philosophy, and my reading, learning and research into these areas is always on-going.
I have worked for a number of counselling organisations over the years, mostly in order to gain as much experience as possible in addition to my private practice.
In terms of what people come to see me about, the most common issue is anxiety, sometimes combined with low self esteem or other issues, and so I have found my research and approach developing in this area the most. If I were to name a specialisation it would be Anxiety.
My approach is holistic and integrative, the sum of many years of training and experience including psycho-dynamic, cognitive (CBT), existential and transpersonal elements, which allows me to tailor my approach to individual needs.
For any trauma related issues I now use EMDR as a preferred approach, as per NICE guidance. EMDR sessions may take longer than 50 mins, so session fees may vary.
I offer one to one therapy, based in central London W2 near Warwick Avenue a few minutes walk from Paddington station.
