About me
I am a psychotherapist and counsellor, as well as an EMDR and Imago trained therapist providing individual's therapy and and couple's counselling in South West and Central London. I offer both short and long term therapy in a welcoming, non-judgemental and confidential environment.
Personal dilemmas and crises may present an opportunity not only to take stock of one's life but also to rediscover strength, contentment, hope and joy.
During your sessions, we will look into what brings you to therapy - where you are in life, where would you aspire to be, what obstacles are in the way of a more fulfilling way of being, and what can be done to remove them.
“Self knowledge is no guarantee of happiness but it is on the side of happiness and can supply the courage to fight for it", Simone de Beauvouir.
Therapy is an investment, an investment in you and your relationships. The understanding of oneself leads to the uncovering of new directions and fresh energy.
Over many years of practice, people have come to me for therapy for a number of reasons - anxiety, panic, phobias, generalised anxiety disorder, feeling sad, depression, postnatal depression, family issues, relationship issues, divorce, separation, affairs and betrayals, disappointment, past and resent traumas, abuse, addictions, numbers of sexuality related concerns, health deterioration, low self-esteem, general feeling of being stuck and depleted. I draw from many therapeutic approaches, employing the ones most useful to your specific needs as an individual or a couple.
I have worked within the NHS, clinics and therapy centres as well as in private practice. I am UKCP registered psychotherapist.
Please feel free to contact me should you want to discuss further or/and book an assessment session.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
