I offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, which has been shown by many research trials to be a highly effective therapy for a variety of psychological problems, including depression, anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, obsessions and compulsions and trauma. CBT is a brief, focussed, problem-solving intervention , in which client and therapist work together to solve the client's problems. Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Ph. D. in Clinical Psychology, and I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and an Accredited CBT Therapist with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy. I have over 20 years experience in both the NHS and private practice, and I also teach on a CBT course and supervise other therapists.
