Jahque Price-Rees MBACP (Senior Accredited) Psychotherapist/Supervisor
Psychotherapy and Counselling can help you to work through issues that prevent you from feeling secure in your life. My consultancy close to Hampstead Heath provides you with a safe, supportive and confidential environment in which to explore any issues that affect your quality of life, in a space just for you. My aim is always to support you to make sense of your life, in a way that leads to a renewed sense of hope.
It can be taken on a short or long term basis depending on your needs. I adapt the therapy according to your individual needs. When you come to see me I assess your unique needs and offer you a space for exploration that enables you to deepen your understanding of yourself, and simply reconnect. This process usually takes place on a weekly basis, though some people feel the need to come less often.
The aim of Psychotherapy and Counselling is always an improved quality of life and relationships. It can be as much about celebrating your strengths and aspirations, as well as facing painful experiences in a confidential space, and it always takes place at a pace that provides safety and connection for you.

Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
