Due to the present Covid Situation I am presently working online only with Video Sessions. They are face to face and have worked very successfully if you have a good broadband connection.
Are you depressed, angry, suffering with overwhelming anxiety and wondering how you can carry on? Do you have relationship issues, or have you been bereaved?
Maybe you are feeling sad and don't understand why?
Today, we live in a fast-paced, non-stop society, constantly striving for the next goal. When do you have the space just to be? When do you truly have the time to understand and reflect on what is causing you anxiety and low mood? Is it time for you to do something about the way you are feeling?
"When there is a hill to climb, waiting won't make it smaller". Anon.
I offer a supportive, confidential, caring and professional counselling service. Where else in your life can you be listened to unconditionally and without judgement? This may be the time for you to help yourself and invest in your future.
We can look on therapy as if we are assembling a jigsaw. We tip the pieces out of the box and begin to assemble the pieces together. We look at all the problems and stories that make up your life and we slowly add the pieces to make a pattern. We identify and work on any trauma and slowly we can see the picture more clearly. We assemble the pieces together to make your experiences and life into a more coherent picture. Therapy can help you decipher what is happening to you. We gain insights and you can learn ways of coping with your feelings and problems.

Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Successful therapy is an investment in your future helping you work out your problems in a safe and confidential environment. You will be offered an initial assessment session to enable you to decide if therapy is right for you and to ensure that you are happy to work with me. It is important to choose the right Counsellor for you.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays.
I have the life experience to support with empathy and understanding. Therapy can be short-term or longer term for deep-seated issues. It is a safe place to explore and learn to understand our reactions to life.
"At times in our life we need to press the Pause button and reflect. Where am I going and how do I want my life to be? Is this what I want and need to make me happy?"
Therapy can lead to more meaningful relationships and better paid jobs. We can gain more confidence, emotional satisfaction and become a better person. It is cheaper than divorce because if we don't understand ourselves we keep making the same mistakes.
Please feel free to call me for a 15 mins chat. It is time to make that difference to your life. I know it is very hard to make that first step but once you have done that and had the initial meeting you can decide if therapy is right for you.
If I am unable to answer please leave a message and I will return your call as soon as possible. Emails and telephone calls are confidential and only answered by me.
CRB checked. (Criminal Records Bureau). (Now called Disclosure & Barring Service).
