Co Director of the Chrysalis Counselling Centre, Mary Brannigan is a registered psychologist with the British Psychological Society and a BACP Accrediated counsellor. Specialising in the treatment of Anxiety, Depression, Bereavement, Relationship Issues, Couple Counselling, Anger Management, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Counselling takes place in discrete private offices in Castlewellan.
Training, qualifications & experience
Mary Brannigan has a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Counselling Psychology (1997). She completed the diploma in practitioner skills in Eating Disorders at the National Centre of eating disorders in London. Mary works both short term 6-12 sessions and longer term for more in depth issues. She uses CBT Pyschodynamic and integrative therapy with her clients. Mary also provides clinical supervision for counsellors.

Counselling sessions last for 50 minutes and cost £45 for individual sessions.
Couple counselling sessions last for 1 hour and cost £60 per session.
I offer concessionary rates for those on reduced income. This can be discussed during our initial assessment.
