Susan Robertson, Adults & Young People Psychotherapy UKCP Registered.
We inevitably face challenges throughout our lives, may be feeling stuck or just not sure about life at the moment. It may be that you are experiencing difficulties within your relationships, feel depressed or anxious, or that you are not getting the most out of your life. Perhaps you have suffered many losses, emotional or physical abuse, neglect, bereavement or trauma. Or you might just be feeling generally anxious and continuously worried most of the time and unsure of the reason why.
As an experienced Psychodynamic counsellor with 18 years of experience in mental health and 15 years of clinical experience as a counsellor/psychotherapist, I know that these types of problems can lead to a deep sense of unhappiness, often due to the the relationship we have with ourselves and other people.
I offer open ended and short term Counselling. I have helped adults & Adolescence 12 + with depression, anxiety, abuse, loss, low self esteem, family relationship issues, school bullying, self harm, problems with food, angry feelings, bereavement, trauma, & many more.
I also offer supervision for trainee & qualified counsellors, groups and individual and specialise in supervision for counsellors who work with adolescence in a variety of settings.
I beleive the relationship you have with your therapist is key to therapeutic healing and I offer an initial consultation to meet so that we can think about what you would like to gain from counselling and if you feel you would like to work with me as well as the best way for you to proceed if you wish to do so. If you would like an initial consultation please do contact me leave your name and number and I will return your call as soon as possible. Your call will be kept confidential.
