A Staffordshire Moorlands based counsellor, I have a special interest in bereavement, anxiety and depression. In my sixteen years of practice I have also counselled those with anger management issues and people with addictions (food, alcohol).
I am a fully qualified, integrative Counsellor and an accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). I offer a confidential and safe environment in which to unload issues which inhibit you in leading the life to which you aspire. I offer integrity and warmth, am non-judgemental and effective.
I am committed to ongoing training which is of benefit to my clients and adds to my personal and professional development.
From my own life experiences of bereavement, cancer and the stresses and anxieties that are part of everyday life I have emerged having been helped by my years of Counsellor training. Be assured that I may have experienced some of what you are going through. People may think we are over an incident, making it hard for us to re-visit with them. At these times we want to talk, but most importantly we need to be heard.
At present, I have my own private practice offering 1-to-1 work, both short and long-term, on a weekly or fortnightly basis. I aim to provide flexibility to fit in with my clients' busy lives.
I work in a person centred way along with solution focussed therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. You will always be treated respectfully, not judged and your confidentiality is assured.
