Sandra Davis Reg. MBACP: Reg. Accred. MACC
I am a qualified and widely experienced counsellor and supervisor working with individuals and couples; I have been in private practice since 2002.
I offer a confidential, non judgemental environment where you can safely explore issues, difficulties and feelings you are experiencing and find ways to work through them. There are times when experiences from the past may be impacting you in the present and these too can be safely talked about. The first step into counselling can feel difficult and perhaps anxiety provoking, and that is very understandable. Therefore I want to assure you that whatever you are finding it difficult to cope with I would welcome meeting with you.
The counselling is set at a pace which suits each individual client, and can be short or longer term, and is reviewed and negotiated as appropriate. I work in an integrative way so that the counselling can fit the needs of each individual.
I have worked within the charitable sector in different settings, and continue to do so, providing counselling across a wide range of issues. I work long and short term, and within time limited contracts.
I offer counselling in the person's home for those whose circumstances, whether it be age illness, or disability, prevent them from accessing it externally.
I am a registered member of BACP and a registered accredited member of the Association of Christian Counsellors; I work within the code of Ethics and Good Practice of both these professional bodies. I place tremendous value on, and respect the uniqueness of, each person and their circumstances working within the value and belief system of each individual.
