About me

I believe that you have the answers you seek inside of yourself. My role is to help you rediscover and reconnect with yourself to find those answers that are right for you.

Are you a perfectionist who is your own worst critic? Is your priority other people and making them happy? Are you a bright, quick thinker or over-thinker? Do you often get overwhelmed by life and may suffer from anxiety and depression? Chances are you may have highly sensitive and gifted traits.

I have a focus on working with Highly Sensitive People (HSPs), empaths and gifted adults and am listed on Dr Elaine Aron's website. This is a proven genetic trait in 20% of the population and still not widely known. For more details on this and for a link to the HSP self test, see the Highly Sensitive Person page on my website at

I hold regular meetings (currently via video) in London and Cookham to help HSPs flourish, develop your superpowers and meet others like yourself. These are very welcoming and warm groups and there is no pressure to talk. It's hugely empowering for HSPs to have an experience of being with others like themselves. For more details and to register with either the London group or the Cookham group, please follow the link to the groups on my website

Career and work pressures can be very tough and I can also help you navigate the options when faced with a very demanding job or stressful work environment. I understand these issues very well due to my previous senior-level business background. I also coach business leaders.

I offer video, telephone and in-person counselling.

Please contact me for a free 30 minute call or video meeting.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
