About us

We offer professional, affordable counselling and therapy for everyone - regardless of who you are or the life that you lead.

We believe that counselling should be accessible so we agree with you how much  you can pay.

All of our counsellors are professionally trained - when you contact us you will be asked to come for an assessment where you will meet with one of our qualified and experienced  counsellors. This will give you the opportunity to  talk about why you want counselling and to think aobut the approach that you might find most helpful and supportive.

All decisions are taken together with clients.

We are based in Canterbury and work with people from across east and central Kent.

     We offer:

  • counselling for individuals

  • counselling for  couples

  • face-to-face, short and long term support

  • counselling for students in training

  • supervision for qualified counsellors

If you feel you are struggling, if life feels difficult, then come and talk to Waymark.

Training, qualifications & experience

Counsellors are trained to diploma level and beyond and are either accredited byt the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy or are working towards accreditation. Our counsellors undertake Continual Professional Development.

We have a partnership with the University of Kent Diploma Course and take students who are in their final year of training, as well as having students from other reputable training organisations.

Further information

Waymark is a charity that aims to enable people who are struggling or in need of emotional support to access professional and high quality counselling, without worrying about entering into an expensive long term commitment.

We raise funds to enable clients to access counselling, when they need it, for as long as they need it at a cost that they have decided they can afford.
