About me

I am an attachment-based psychotherapist and have worked in private practice for over eighteen years. I have taught students on Infant Observation, psychosis and attachment, and gender for the psychotherapy training at The Bowlby Centre and am the Chair of the clinical training committee which runs the four year psychoanalytic training at the centre. I continue to be involved in the organization at an Executive level. My approach focusses on the centrality of early parental damage and the impact this has on us as we develop. I work with individuals and couples on a weekly (or more frequent) basis for short and long term therapy. I am also a supervisor for counsellors and psychotherapists in training.

The Bowlby Centre (TBC) has core values that encompass the importance of grieving childhood in order to heal, and the accessibility of therapy for everyone. We specialise in working with childhood and adult trauma. Please do visit the website to find out more about the centre and what we do. I work privately from home but am heavily involved in the running of the training at the centre.
