About me

Over 20 years experience enables me to offer a wide range of approaches to a variety of life's difficulties.
Please read on to find out if what I offer might be of help to you.
I have a warm, calm, perceptive but non-judgemental style and my clients say they feel safe in exploring their issues with me.
Your sessions with me will allow you the time, space and privacy to relax and explore what you are truly thinking and feeling.
Together we aim to discover new and different ways of looking at things and alternative options to resolve your issues.
I have been practising as a therapist for over 20 years and offer short and long term counselling and psychotherapy to individuals and couples.
My Humanistic training puts respect and support of the individual at the core of my work and I have extensive training and experience in using a variety of approaches. However, the relationship I form with my clients is as important therapeutically, as the method used and I delight in getting to know the unique specialness of each person I work with.

About myself:
I am married for the second time and have three grown up children and three grand-children, including twins.
Like many people, I have experienced bereavement, illness and losses in my immediate and extended family and amongst my friends. All of these events, and my responses to them, have helped shape and make me the person I am now.
Who we are today is, and is not, who we were 5, 10 or 15 years ago.
From my personal experiences, and years of professional development, I bring compassion, humility and wisdom in listening to others' lives.
I believe self-knowledge and self-development is an ongoing, life-long process and a journey to be enjoyed.
