About me

Are you feeling anxious or low? Are you finding day-to-day life a struggle? Are you feeling that your personal or professional relationships are strained or less fulfilling than you would like? I will help you gain greater understanding of your feelings and anxieties and will work with you to find a way forward.

I have been practising as a psychotherapist since 2008. I am UKCP accredited, with an M.A in Psychotherapy and Counselling. I trained in the Existential approach to Psychotherapy, which concentrates on our ability to create meaningful lives in this present moment. I also utilise other counselling perspectives such as CBT, the Person-Centred Approach and Mindfulness. I am a member of BACP and I adhere to the UKCP code of ethics.

Our feelings of anxiety, depression and panic are often a sign that we are living in a way which is out of step with our own personal values. I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgmental place where we consider your choices at your own pace. Together we will examine your feelings and your values to gain a clearer sense of who you are and what you want to be. We build on your own resources to increase your self-confidence to live your life with a renewed sense of empowerment.

I see clients for in person psychotherapy sessions from my home in Stoke Newington, or I can offer online sessions via Skype and Zoom.  I offer both short-term and open-ended therapy.

In addition I can also offer walking and running therapy where sessions are held in local green spaces in north London. This is generally a client led session where the therapy takes place outdoors, walking, running or sitting for periods as preferred. This is a therapy technique which is rapidly gaining in popularity both in the UK and US. The experience of being outside in harmony with nature, combined with physical movement, can be particularly beneficial for clients struggling with anxiety, bereavement, anger issues or stress.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or to book an initial session.
