Judith Brooker Registered Member MBACP
I am usually available during the day Monday to Thursday.
I am a qualified counsellor with twelve years experience of working in my own private counselling practice. I work one to one with individuals. My clients bring a variety of issues including: anxiety, depression, self esteem , stress, menopause and aging, relationships and family issues. I provide a private and confidential place in which you can feel supported and understood.
I offer person centered counselling, which means that you are fully in control of your own counselling and my role is to be alongside you and support you while you have time to think things through.
I work in a comfortable, ground floor counselling room in my own home. This gives me a lot of flexibility about when I work and we can make an appointment that suits you, including normal working hours or early evening.
I welcome calls and emails and I aim to see you for a first session as soon as possible after you make contact.
I welcome all new people and I am happy to talk to you about what you need to make your counselling work for you.
Confidentiality is very important to me and I am happy to talk to you about the way I keep all notes and records. All notes are shredded when counselling comes to an end. I am a self-employed independent counsellor without any links to health or social services. I am a member of BACP and I work to their ethical code.
