Gaining a FRESH PERSPECTIVE on life, and on ourselves, often enables us to have the rich and satisfying existence that we all deserve. Don’t deny yourself that opportunity, please get in touch.
People contact me for a variety of reasons – a long-term problem that doesn’t go away, an immediate crisis, or feelings of emptiness or vulnerability. Therapy provides the opportunity to talk about the things in our lives, that don't make sense or that make us feel sad or afraid.
Giving time and attention to your distress, in the company of a listening, empathic, impartial therapist can lighten the load. It also provides important space to review your situation, and how you live and experience your life.
The goal is to make the transition into therapy as simple and convenient as possible.
A solution focused approach
With a City based practice, that has been established for over twelve years, the approach is open, and jargon free. Thought is given to the underlying reasons for distress, to help understand why life has gone off plan. My style of working moves between Therapy and Coaching. The aim is to enable you, to explore and resolve issues, finding long-term solutions to your difficulties.
And what's to be gained?
Whether as an individual, or couple, of any age, gender or sexuality, I can help you find new perspectives, which will help you to regulate, and manage difficult emotions as and when they arise. I will be listening to you at a deeper level, to identify your patterns of behaviour, and to help you understand the way you think about yourself, and others. Therapy encourages a fresh look, at old thought patterns.
As well as self-referrals, I am registered to accept referrals from members of Aviva, AXA, Cigna and Vitality Health
Prior to establishing an independent practice, I worked for the NHS for many years as a Risk and Stress Management Manager . As well as my work as a Therapist, I present, write and I am a Trustee with Relate.
As well as self referrals, I am registered to accept referrals from Aviva, AXA, Cigna and Vitality Health members.
If this is an approach that could work for you, please call or send a message to ask any questions, or to arrange an initial meeting.
