My aim is to offer you a respectful...warm and welcoming atmosphere, where you can feel comfortable to talk about your feelings and experiences in a non -judgemental space.
When you are thinking about counselling, it can feel uneasy and uncomfortable to ask for help, I would like you to know that alot of my clients have initially experienced this too, being an experienced counsellor offering a warm and caring space for your individual needs.

I began training as a counsellor following my own personal therapy and experiences within my own life.
My experience of my own counsellor had such a positive impact on my life, it became a catalyst to wanting to help and support others, in a individual and unique way.
Being able to help and support others to make changes in their life has been prevelant within my experiences.

I am a Member of the British Association of Counselling and Pshychotherapy and abide by the codes and practices of the said Governing body.
I work with Individuals on a one to one basis, this is normally on a weekly basis.
Counselling can be a short or long term journey, this is something we discuss together and decide from the begining of our meeting together.
My counselling orientation is Humanistic integrated , what I mean by this is that my training covered indepth learning of different models a few of these are; of Carl Rogers person centered...Transactional Analysis... psychdynamic... this allows me to offer you a a tailor made therapy that suits your specific needs, within the here and now . The training informs how I think and support you in the therapeutic relationship

I have several years Experience through working in private practice, I also work within a local voluntary agency, since 2005.
I have experience of working with individuals of all age groups, and in the NHS.
I have worked within the public sector and private sector for over 20 years,this is where often I would help collegues resolve issues within the work place.
I have life experience of a variety of complex issues including Depression and Anxiety, something that is very close to my heart , that I specifically work with....

One to one counselling sessions;
£50.00 per 50min session.
I will require 48hours notice on cancellation in an emergency only.
