Sue Tribe MFETC, MNCS, Emotional Therapeutic Counsellor,
Hello and thank you for reading my profile. I have been running a successful counselling practice from home in Up Hatherley since 2001. I am qualified, insured and registered with the appropriate governing bodies for the therapies I practise.
Emotional Therapeutic Counselling
Emotional Therapeutic Counselling is a person-centred interactive and creative, talking therapy designed to help people who are suffering from any difficulties in their lives.
These difficulties might include relationship problems, family arguments, bereavement, work related issues such as bullying, financial worries, illness, parenting problems or unresolved emotional trauma from the near or distant past. Sometimes there appears to be no particular reason for life feeling very difficult. You might feel depressed, anxious, sad, angry, isolated, lacking in confidence, low self-esteem, stuck or unable to cope. All these things might be stopping you from living your life in a fulfilling and positive way.
As a counsellor I will provide you with a safe space and listen to you in a way that makes you feel heard and emotionally supported, without judgement and give you the time and encouragement to explore the difficulties in your life. I will help you to unravel, express and make sense of your feelings, emotions and life using very gentle but effective techniques.
Alongside this I also aim to help you feel better about yourself by helping you to improve your self-esteem and self-worth and if you wish, look to see if you want to make changes that will empower you to have a more fulfilling positive life in the future.
I believe in the therapies I practise as I have benefited myself and now having worked with a large number of people with diverse needs I have seen how counselling has changed and transformed their lives for the better too.
“Your warmth, care and patience are wonderful gifts. With your help and time my life is so much richer. I thank you with all my heart.”
“Thank you for everything you have helped me with this year. I am delighted with how I've developed and grown, my outlook and ways of handling things are now so different. For the first time in my life I feel empowered.”
“Thank you for your support and guidance over the last few months. I've changed my perspective and feelings towards life for the better in more ways than one”
“Sue is deeply caring and empathetic counsellor”
“Sue listens, treats me with confidence, care and respect”
“Sue brings her own personality, warmth and humour (where appropriate)”
“My Employer referred me to Sue, I can't thank them enough as I may not have found her otherwise”
